1. Cut pink cardstock to size and fold or prepare pink card.
2. Cut patterned green paper/ white cardstock to 1/2 centimeter smaller on each side than the card. If using white cardstock, stamp your swirl pattern onto the paper and destress the edges. Glue to the center of the pink card.
3. Cut two abstract quadrilateral (4-sided) shapes out of the pink patterned paper. The two shapes should be the same size. They should be going vertically on the card. Glue to the green of the card.
4. Glue the striped ribbon inbetween the two abstract pink shapes.
5. Glue on buttons (matching or not, your choice) randomly around/ over the ribbon.
6. Cut out a small rectangle of green paper with rounded edges. Glue that to white paper and cut an even border. Write "Sweet 16" on the green paper with the pink gel pen. Glue a small piece of pink ribbon to one end of the rectangle. Glue the entire piece at an angle on the larger side of one of the abstract shapes.
7. Glue another small piece of pink ribbon to the opposite corner of the other abstract shape. Glue the paper flower + brad or other embelishment on top of the ribbon.
Hints and Tips:
* If you're not too fond of pink and green (they fit my personal ocassion), change the colors.
* Change the "Sweet 16" message to fit your occassion.
